Let's get out of here spoken by Judy Garland is the most common scripted line in all Hollywood productions (it was used at least once 84% of the time) from the late 30s to the mid 70s.

The Wizard of Oz (1939) is everybody's cherished favorite, perennial fantasy film musical from MGM during its golden years. For many seasons, it was featured regularly on network TV as a prime time event (its first two showings were on CBS television on November 3, 1956 and in December, 1959) and then annually for Thanksgiving, Christmas and/or Easter time. It soon became a classic institution, and a rite of passage for everyone, and probably has been seen by more people than any other motion picture over multiple decades. Initially, however, the film was not commercially successful (at $3 million), but it was critically acclaimed

The greatest and most famous classic adventure-fantasy (and part-horror) film of all time is King Kong (1933). Co-producers and directors Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack (both real-life adventurers and film documentarians) conceived of the low-budget story of a beautiful, plucky blonde woman (Fay Wray) and a frightening, gigantic, 50 foot ape-monster as a metaphoric re-telling of the archetypal Beauty and the Beast fable. [Fay Wray mistakenly believed that her RKO film co-star, 'the tallest, darkest leading man in Hollywood,' would be Cary Grant rather than the beast. Later in her life, she titled her autobiography "On the Other Hand" in memory of her squirming in Kong's grip.

Ostensibly set during the Korean War (1950-53), "M*A*S*H" is a black comedy about life in a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital unit located only three miles from the front lines. The primary mission of the MASH unit is to provide immediate medical treatment to Americans wounded in combat, and the young surgeons are often up to their elbows in blood and guts for long periods of time. But when they’re off duty, the MASH unit personnel keep their sanity by pursuing a wacky, irreverent lifestyle that leads to some hilarious adventures.
Directed by Robert Altman, "M*A*S*H" features a large and talented ensemble cast that includes Donald Sutherland as Captain "Hawkeye" Pierce, Elliott Gould as Captain "Trapper John" McIntyre, Tom Skerritt as Captain "Duke" Forrest, Sally Kellerman as Major "Hot Lips" O’Houlihan, Robert Duvall as Major Frank Burns, and Gary Burghoff as Corporal "Radar" O’Reilly. On the DVD, Altman and some of the actors mention that pretty much all the dialogue was improvised, and I really like the way the lines in the movie are delivered. And trivia fans, take note: Altman claims that "M*A*S*H" was the first major American film in which the f-word was heard. (The honor of breaking the taboo goes to John Schuck during the football game sequence.)

There wont still be any outdoor shots at this stage apart from those taken around the house or in the backyard garden. Dont have the confidence to venture out yet (cant afford to lose another less_than_a_month_old camera, ) so i guess i'll just have to settle with these ones for now ....

Oh btw, ET stands for Extension Tubes and not Extra-Terrestrial. I might be paranoid but am certainly not insane ... yet .... ok, so can we be friends ? ... "stretches out her index finger" .... haha kidding !

Be Afraid
|
|
Frightened of spiders ? Actually it is quite surprising how people have developed a fear of spiders. People who really aren't afraid may automatically behave as if they were. Horror movies, other people and just plain misinformation about spiders often are causes for this fear. Another factor contributing to the fear is spiders move quickly, giving the impression they are "after" us. People consider spiders to be ugly and frightening. In truth many are quite handsome or graceful, and all of them are fascinating.
Other spiders may be annoying due to their webs, but, unpopular as they are, most spiders are shy and harmless to humans. Most have fangs too small or weak to puncture human skin. They usually will not attempt to bite unless accidentally trapped or held. Spiders are beneficial, feeding on harmful insects (flies, crickets, etc.) and mites in and around the home, yard, garden and field.
Lastly, humans out-weigh and out-size spiders many thousand times and are much more likely to behave with murderous intent. It should be the spider who feels "fear" at our approach -- not us. (Perhaps that's why they run so fast).

Dont Love You No more

After almost 6 years, I guess now is the time for us to say goodbye to each other. I must admit it took me a while to realise that its all over between us. You have changed alot lately .... I could tell. You're no longer the same as you were before. There were times when you would walk out on me just like that. Most times you're not there, even during those times when I desperately needed you. I cant depend on you anymore. I've been through hell trying hard not to lose you. I've done every possible ways, but nothing seemed to work coz i guess you've given up on me. It's sad .... but will be alright. I'm over it now, Ive moved on with my life and guess what !! I found a new one ! YES ive ditched you .... my old, unreliable, ever slow PC for this one .....
