A short conversation to a nice old indian man who used to be my neighbour ...
HE: Hello love, happy new year. Long time no see.
ME: Happy new year to you too. How you've been?
HE: I've been fine, how about yourself? You look diffirent, look healthier. ( i guess what he meant was that I put on some weight as he extended his arms on both sides as if telling me that i've gotten bigger ! haha )
ME: I know! My appetite has been extremely strong lately. It's no good. I've got to do something bout it ... get rid of those unwanted kilos.
HE: Maybe you have high cholesterol. ( Then started telling me about how the doctor prescribed him with a maintainance pill. )
ME: Im taking an appetite suppresant pill but it doesnt seem to be working ... hhhm. Hey I better get going.
HE: OK darl, take care.
ME: I will, you too ... bye.

It's always been the sort of conversation i have whenever i meet someone i havent seen since i went up from size 8/10 to 12 or sometimes even size 14 !! The first thing they would notice is how I put on weight. itsnotfunnyenemor!! There's even one who at first didnt recognise me. watafak !!! I mean seriously, is it that bad ??! If so I need to do something about it !! I've got to start by living a healthy lifestyle!! I need to do more excercise !! I have to cut down on processed and junk foods! I have to eat less take aways and eat more fruits and vegies !! I will do it... Yes I can do it ... this time, it's for real

The story behind the diet pill is ... I have to take it 30 mins before every meal because it's meant to be a suppresant pill right? But since I want to lose weight sooo badly, I skip my tea and lunch and by the time i get home Im so hungry I tend to go straight to the kitchen and find something to eat. And what happened to the pill? Yes Id completely forgot about it !!!! lolz

Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel first recorded this song in the 80's. .. Twenty years on, Natalie Bassingthwaighte & Shannon Noll came up with their own version. Im not a huge fan of the two but i must admit, they did a great job in reviving the song. It has a better rhythm and the video is better than the original too. Otherwise it's a beautiful song ... so touching and uplifting.
